This Salt Crystal Lamp is handcrafted, mounted on a wooden base, and
includes an electrical cord and bulb. It is made of salt crystal that is
ethically harvested from the geological range of the Himalayan
Mountains, where salt deposits were formed millions of years ago. Due to
its natural formation, each lamp is a uniquely beautiful combination of
pink, orange and white – no two are the same!
This lamp naturally produces negative ions, which help clean and purify the air. Ions are small electrically charged particles contained in the air we breathe. Such a nice calming bedside lamp
I love this lamp - I'm not sure about the properties it's thought to have but I do find it really calming to have on as a lamp in the bedroom, or as a lamp during meditation or yoga practice. I knocked off one star because there were no instructions - I had to Google what to do with the actual bulb and fixture part - I was just resting the bulb in the lamp but it wasn't sitting right. Turns out you need to fold the metal parts (which are quite stiff) so you can insert the bulb and cord into the lamp and it stays in there. I am still really happy with the purchase and would recommend it.

Favourite item I have purchased
I bought 3 Salt lamps, and wish I had one for every room ...the light is so soothing...I have one in my Yoga room, bedroom and livingroom , one arrived with broken part-where the bulb goes, I called and within 2 days they sent me not only bulb casing, but a whole new Himalayan Salt Lamp, get customer service

Prevents Fatigue
When I have this on, I feel much less drained when working at my computer.
(FYI, The bulb was broken when I received it. Ecoideas - owners of the Lumiere de Sel brand - sent me a free replacement even though I purchased the lamp through Well.ca. Excellent customer service!)
