Spike is wonderful for vegetarians! Tastes awesome on popcorn and potatoes. The perfect addition to homemade soups. To make a faux chicken stock, saute onions and carrots sprinkled with spike until soft and add water. To make tofu scramble, sprinkle spike on sauteed tofu along with some turmeric for extra color.

This was something my boyfriend has loved since he was a child. He asked me to order it for him. As he hasn't seen it at our local stores in years. I've never heard of this Spike seasoning before. I tried it on chicken and spaghetti, I don't know how to describe the flavor. It sort of tastes like vegetable bouillon. A little too salty for my liking. I think I will go with the salt free version next time.
