Laundry soda is great, dishwasher powder not so much
I wanted to try these samples before commiting to purchase a big bucket. I knew the dishwasher would be a tricky one. I'm using La Parisienne tablets and it does a good job most of the time, but I wanted to try something more Canadian. Unfortunately, after many cycles, it still leaves white soap residue on plates and glasses. I really wanted to love it, but it wasn't a success in our dishwasher.
The laundry soda and oxygen brightener though seem to be a success so far. I have silk pillowcases that I need to wash on delicate cycle only and it has always been challenging to remove stains on them even with stain remover. They were almost perfect out of the wash with Nellie's , without any stain remover and I was really impressed. I never got that result with regular detergent. I just bought the metal tins of both and I'm planning to buy the buckets now.
