Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 60 mg
Directions: Adults: Take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours. Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours. Children 6 to 12 years: half a tablet every 4 to 6 hours. Do not exceed 2 tablets in 24 hours. Do not give with any other cough and cold medications since harm may occur. Consult a doctor for use beyond 7 days.
Warning: Consult a doctor if symptoms persist, worsen and/or you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a doctor prior to use if you are taking medication and/or natural health products for allergy symptoms, asthma, cough/cold and/or weight control. Consult a doctor prior to combining with other medications, including natural health products, prescription drugs or non-prescription drugs. Consult a doctor prior to use if you are taking other products which contain caffeine, ephedrine, phenylpropanolamine and/or pseudoephedrine. Consult a doctor prior to use if you have cardiovascular disease, diabetes, difficulty in urination due to prostate enlargement, glaucoma, renal dysfunction, seizure disorders, pre-existing psychiatric conditions or have thyroid problems. Do not use if you are taking, or have taken in the past two weeks, monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors. Insomnia, rapid heartbeat, restlessness, irritability, dizziness, tremor, severe headache, loss of appetite, nausea, shortness of breath and/or disturbance of urination have been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
