St. Francis Herb Farm Valerian

Valerian is a classic nervine herb, which is to say a herb that tones, calms, and heals the nervous system. Clinical trials have found it to be as effective as drugs to bring on sleep and improve sleep quality, but without untoward side-effects.

Recommended Dosage: (Adults) Relief of nervousness: Take 1 capsule 1-3 times daily on an empty stomach. Alternatively, when used as a sleep aid, 1-2 capsule(s) can be taken 30-60 minutes before bedtime. Take an earlier dose of 1-2 capsules during the evening, if necessary.

Medicinal Ingredients: 360 mg per capsule: A 5:1 concentration, each capsule contains the equivalent of 1800 mg of dried Certified Organic Valerian (Valeriana officinalis, root)

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Hypromellose (vegicap), certified organic maltodextrin. Alcohol free.
