The original Bach Flower Remedies is a system of 38 Flower Remedies that corrects emotional imbalances: negative emotions are replaced with positive.
The Bach Flower Remedies are 100% safe and natural and work in conjunction with herbs, homeopathy and medications.
"For those who cannot prevent thoughts, ideas, arguments which they do not desire from entering their minds. Usually at such times when the interest of the moment is not strong enough to keep the mind full. Thoughts which worry and still remain, or if for a time thrown out, will return. They seem to circle round and round and cause mental torture. The presence of such unpleasant thoughts drives out peace and interferes with being able to think only of the work or pleasure of the day." - Dr. Edward Bach

I'm giving this a five star because it completely works, but not because it improves my mood. I have OCD and unwanted thoughts used to torture my mind, but the psychological reason for having this OCD problem is the subconscious mind attempting to deliberately focus on something other than what is relevant in the present reality. Since I've been taking this I have no more OCD, which was amazing like a miracle but I hate facing the present but I'm finally facing all the reality and I have to finally accept it.

Bach White Chestnut Flower Essence was recommended to me as I have been having trouble sleeping due to busy thoughts of a painful experience. When I'm feeling overly anxious, I use the product at night, just as I get into bed, to help settle my thoughts in order to sleep. I will also use it if I wake with a nightmare. I find that this product does help settle my thoughts and is a good complement to the calming strategies that I use to settle at night.

First time that l've used this particular BAch flower remedy. I usually use the rescue remedy for situations of high stress, public speaking mostly; the white chestnut essence is supposed to stop the mental circus going on in one's mind, but it hasn't been able to cope with mine too well. Perhaps this is a bit unfair, because one shouldn't judge from a couple of experiences...so l'll keep using it and see how it works out. If you want something that works quickly, l 'm afraid l can't say that this one would do the trick...

I use this to help with thinking about the past and negative situations that get replayed in my mind over and over, which prompt me to reassess how I dealt with them giving me added stress over something that happened in the past. So far, after about a week I've noticed I've been thinking less about the past and more about the present ("what am I going to do today?") and future ("what would I like to do tomorrow") and it's a really great feeling not to have to relive depressing situations anymore.
