Danson Decor's story begins with a woman who, with one simple idea, planted the seeds of the flourishing business that is Danson today. In the 1930s, a woman named Nora Aziz discovered a hidden talent of making flowers out of rice paper while recuperating from an illness in the hospital. Her husband, John, was very impressed with her beautiful designs and tried selling them as adornments for women's attire. They were a hit! If "necessity is the mother of invention" the history of Danson Decor is a testament to this adage.
Today Danson Decor remains a family-owned company headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. In business for over 75 years now, Danson offers a complete line of products and accessories in five categories: Everyday Home Decor; Christmas Lighting, Trees and Decor; Halloween Lighting, Costumes and Makeup, and Decor; Lawn and Garden Decor; and Other Special Occasions.
